Video for the Brainerd Lakes area

Video planning for lakes-country businesses, healthcare and schools, with the season and your operations in mind.

Brainerd Lakes

Plan for the season you need to show.

In the Brainerd Lakes area, the season can change both the story and the filming plan. A resort introduction may need summer activity and lake access, while a seasonal business may need to explain what is available before visitors arrive. Decide which parts of the experience the audience needs to see, then work backward from those conditions rather than choosing a date and hoping the right scenes will be available.

Busy summer periods call for coordination with staff, guests and day-to-day operations. A smaller interview window or an agreed filming area may be more useful than unrestricted access. For lakes-country healthcare and schools, the questions are different: who needs an introduction, what information should be clear and which permissions must be in place before anyone appears on camera?

AHP plans, films and edits from its St. Cloud base for Brainerd, Baxter and nearby communities. Lake views and footage across four seasons can be considered where they support the story, but capturing different seasons requires separate scheduling. Our drone operations are FAA Part 107 compliant, with each flight subject to location, weather, airspace and permissions. We do not imply that an existing local project or a ready-made seasonal footage library has been supplied.

Good questions

Before we roll.

When should a Brainerd Lakes resort plan a summer shoot?

Start planning before the activity you need to show. Discuss peak guest periods, staff availability and permission needs so filming can fit operations. No particular booking lead time is guaranteed.

Can one project show all four seasons in the lakes area?

It can be scoped that way, but seasonal scenes require appropriate dates or approved existing footage. A single summer shoot cannot supply genuine winter, spring and fall material.

Can you capture aerial views of a lake or resort?

Yes, where the proposed flight is feasible. AHP provides FAA Part 107-compliant drone operations. Location, site permissions, airspace, operating restrictions and weather must still be checked for each flight.
